Keep track of the latest weather updates

My Hurricane Tracker is a free weather app by jRustonApps B.V. that offers a wide range of tools to track and forecast different weather phenomena such as tornadoes, cyclones, tropical storms, and weather warnings. It is similar to apps like The Weather Channel, MyRadar Weather Radar, and Storm Tracker Weather Radar.

My Hurricane Tracker also has an interface that's user-friendly and visually appealing, ensuring that users can easily access the information they need without being overwhelmed by cluttered screens. The app clearly provides users with precisely what they need in an intuitive manner.

View historical storm details

My Hurricane Tracker offers interactive maps to help you track hurricanes, access to NOAA forecast maps and storm satellite imagery, and the ability to search for historical storms dating back to 1851 or 1949 for the Pacific. You can also enable the option to receive weather warnings from the National Weather Service and push notifications when new storm formations are detected.

The app also features automatically updated radar, satellite, and sea temperature images as well as a five-day outlook from NOAA. You can also track specific hurricanes and receive updates by pressing the notify button. Plus, this app provides you with a clearer look at the map, unlike other titles where other territories are covered by shadows, making it tough to make out other information.

There are a couple of snags to the app, though, that it sometimes takes a while to respond when you're navigating through a map—especially when you're trying to zoom in or out or simply scrolling across. This is despite using higher-specced devices, so those with lower-end devices can struggle more. Another issue is present where users are still receiving notification updates despite turning off the feature.

Sufficient with a couple of tolerable bugs

My Hurricane Tracker is an app that helps users track hurricanes with interactive maps and storm satellite imagery. It allows users to receive weather warnings and push notifications for new storm formations. While it's a solid weather tracker, some users may experience lag when navigating maps, which can be a bummer when checking the weather info in other states or cities.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
